Ear Seed Blog. Do ear seeds work?

After what has felt like an eternity isn't it fantastic we finally have international travel back on the agenda! As someone who lives (and loves) to explore the world, I for one can't wait to start jetting off to exotic locations once again.

However, as much as I adore international travel, 'jet lag' is often an unwanted part of the adventure.

When crossing time zones our bodies can struggle to adjust, leading to symptoms such as insomnia, irritability, inability to focus, and/or disorientation. And if, like me, you have ever experienced these issues, then Seeded Ear Seeds may be the travel hack you need.

Ear seeds, a form of Auriculotherapy is a no-needle form of acupuncture. Think of it as a hybrid between acupuncture and acupressure. Ear seeds placed on certain points help balance the flow of Qi (energy), bringing the mind and body back to balance.

Jet lag is a great example of the body being out of balance. By placing your ear seeds on these points when you travel it may assist in preventing or minimising dreaded jet lag.

Key points to target:

Ear seeds placement for jet lag
  1. Shen men
  2. Point zero
  3. Insomnia 1 & 2
  4. Pineal/ jet lag point

Placing your ear seeds on these points helps to gently stimulate the acupressure points over a few days.

Ear seeds may naturally fall off on their own or can be removed after 3-4 days.

Your holiday awaits. Bon voyage. Enjoy!
