Can wearable acupressure help with headaches?

Acupressure is a type of massage or pressure applied to specific 'acu' points on the body. Acupressure, like acupuncture has been used for thousands of years and is based on the same principals to promote relaxation, wellness, and is used to treat disease in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Acupressure is often referred to as acupuncture without the needles.

Studies show that pressing specific acupressure points can have a systemic effect on the body, helping to treat a variety of concerns from muscle tension, headaches and more.

When it comes to headaches, there is a specific acupressure point called LI-4 (large intestine 4), also called 'Hegu'.

This point is found between the thumb and forefinger. Pressing this point can help with headaches and pain of the head.

The Acurelief is a wearable acupressure cuff that is worn on the hand to help with alleviating pain associated with headaches, head pain, sinus and general promotion of wellbeing.

Acurelief works quickly, specifically targeting the LI-4 acu point.
